Dr. Brandon and his staff were absolutely awesome. I went to my DDS office because of a very painful tooth, was told I needed a root canal. That DDS also told me I couldn’t be scheduled for a root canal for 2 weeks. I then called Dr. Brandon’s practice, and he fit me in the same morning for an exam and xrays. He confirmed that I did indeed need a root canal, His staff scheduled the appointment with the endodonist for the root canal that same afternoon. That’s what I call great customer service. The root canal went well, and the follow up appointment with Dr. Brandon for the tooth crown went great also. I can’t say enough good things about Dr. Brandon and his staff.

Everything about this office is great! The office staff is pleasant and the hygienists are very thorough.They are very personable & professional. The doctor checks my teeth when done and lets me know how my teeth are doing. They are updating the office to make it more modern. They send me reminders for my appointments. My whole family comes here and we enjoy everything about it!

I recently switched dental insurance and my previous dental office no longer accepted my insurance, so I searched Delta’s provider directory on their website, then pored through reviews of dentists in my area. I found a dental office in my neighborhood, and saw in the Yelp reviews that this dentist recently took over a practice so there weren’t many reviews. I called last Friday afternoon, knowing they were closed but figured I would leave a message asking for info as a potential new patient. Within minutes, I got a call back from the dentist Dr Skenandore himself. I apologized because I didn’t realize i called the dr concierge. He said it was the office line and they are closed today, but he was checking voicemails to help the office staff. needless to say, that was an AWESOME first impression! Dr Brandon explained he took over the practice last year and it’s just his wife and him. Honestly, I try to support local businesses as much as possible so I was happy to give him our business. He fitted my husband and me with new patient appointments yesterday. I LOVE that! When I got there, Cathy at the front desk greeted me with a friendly smile. The waiting room is clean, and Dr Brandon’s and his wife’s diplomas are proudly hung on the wall. There’s also a little introduction card for each dentist on the table near the diplomas. Very nice touch! Since we completed our forms online the night before (with a link they sent us via text), we were good to go and our dental hygienists called us back in no time. Sharidyn was my hygienist and she was an absolute delight! Very personable and approachable. I felt like I was talking with a friend. She seemed super happy with her job and the practice, which made me feel even more confident in this place. The treatment room itself was a bit vintage-looking, with wood on the walls, but all of the office equipment was state of the art. I think they’re changing it bit by bit. Once sharidyn finished, Dr Brandon came in. He was super friendly and I didn’t get the sleazy feeling that he wanted to upsell me on anything. He took his time explaining the X-rays and addressed any concerns I had. He examined my teeth and thoroughly explained the recommended plan of care. I had a GREAT first visit and will be back next week, to repair an old filling. I love how I can get in quickly for an appointment. Highly recommend this dental office. They were great!

Outstanding Dentists! Drs. Brandon and Iris Skenandor have taken over the office of Curtis Platt in West Garden Grove. I took my broken tooth to Brandon, who squeezed me in same day, sorted me out with a temporary crown - and no root canal by the way - and it has not bothered me since. He and Iris are friendly, professional, and welcoming new patients. Very casual and fun atmosphere, with the latest equipment. Clearly a home run! I have found my new permanent dentist.

Westgrove Dental Care is a state of the art dental office. A simple cleaning seems to be done with less pain and more advanced capabilities. The office itself is gaining new abilities to better serve its patients.

I changed dentists after 40 years and joined Dr. Skenandore’s practice. I could not be more happy! The entire staff made my transition easy and everyone in the office is friendly, professional, knowledgeable, kind, skillful, and most of all cheerful! I would highly recommend Dr. Skenandore and his team without reservation whatsoever. And my personal bonus is the office is a short 4 minute walk from my home!

After years of hopping around looking for a good dentist we thought we would give this office a try as it’s within walking distance of where we live. At that time Dr. Curtis Platt was the residing dentist and he was GREAT, always treating us with care, compassion and professionalism. Last year Dr. Platt retired and Dr. Brandon Skenandore took over the practice, so far Dr. Skenandore has treated us with the same characteristics as Dr. Platt and is also modernizing the office with updated software, decor, more staff and offering more dental services. I am so grateful to be a patient of this office, I would drive a long distance for my appointments but thankfully I live just down the street!
