Westgrove Dental Care is pleased to offer in-house specialty services, ensuring that our patients can receive all their specialized care conveniently and comfortably within our office. We are proud to introduce Dr. Andrew Ikazaki, a periodontist, a dentist who specializes in the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of periodontal disease, also known as gum disease, and Dr. Nathan Tsai, an endodontist, a dentist who specializes in dental nerve treatment and root canal treatments.
Dr. Andrew Ikazaki is a Board Certified Periodontist and a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology. He attended the University of Washington, Seattle where he obtained his Bachelor of Science in Biology and the UCLA School of Dentistry to obtain his Doctorate of Dental Surgery. He continued at UCLA for an additional three years to complete the UCLA Periodontics and Implantology Residency Program and a Master’s Degree in Oral Biology. He maintains his involvement as part-time faculty in the UCLA Department of Periodontics in the education of dental students. Outside of teaching and treating patients, he enjoys weightlifting, rock climbing with his friends, and adventuring with his fiancee.
Dr. Nathan Tsai was born and raised in Southern California. He is a double Bruin having received his undergraduate and dental degree from UCLA. He completed a residency in Advanced Education in General Dentistry in Santa Barbara, and worked in private practices in Santa Cruz and Castroville, CA. He returned to Loma Linda to complete his residency in endodontics and obtained his M.S.D. with a focus in endodontic irrigation. He is passionate about saving teeth and has served on multiple dental mission trips to Guatemala. In his free time, Dr. Tsai enjoys spending time with his friends and family and likes to stay active surfing and playing pickleball and golf.
